Who Should You Contact?
CameleonPro operates as both a data controller and a data processor, depending on your relationship with the platform. This determines who you should contact:
If you are a Subscriber (organization account holder)
CameleonPro is the data controller for your account, billing, and platform usage data. Submit your request directly to us using the process below.
If you are an end customer or fieldworker
Your organization (the Subscriber) is the data controller for your data. CameleonPro processes your data on their behalf. You should:
- Contact your service provider first — the organization that manages your bookings or employment through CameleonPro. They are legally responsible for responding to your request within 30 days.
- If you are unable to reach the Subscriber or they do not respond within 30 days, you may contact CameleonPro directly. We will forward your request to the appropriate Subscriber and assist in fulfilling it.
How to Submit a Request
Send your request to privacy@cameleonpro.com with the following information:
- Subject line: “Data Subject Request — [Your Right]” (e.g., “Data Subject Request — Access”)
- Full name as registered on the platform
- Email address associated with your account
- Organization name (if you are a Subscriber, fieldworker, or end customer of a specific business)
- The specific right you wish to exercise (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, or consent withdrawal)
- Additional details to help us locate your data (e.g., booking references, dates of interaction)
Identity Verification
To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We may ask you to:
- Confirm details that match our records (e.g., email address, recent booking information)
- Provide a copy of a government-issued ID (if we cannot verify your identity through other means)
Any identification documents provided for verification purposes will be used solely for that purpose and deleted immediately after verification.
Response Timeline
- We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days
- We will fulfill your request within 30 calendar days of receipt (GDPR Article 12(3))
- If your request is complex or we receive a high volume of requests, we may extend the response period by an additional 60 days, in which case we will inform you of the extension and the reasons for it within the initial 30-day period
Cost
Requests are fulfilled free of charge. If requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive (particularly if repetitive), we may charge a reasonable administrative fee or refuse to act, in accordance with GDPR Article 12(5). We will inform you of the fee before processing.
