Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the rules and guidelines for using CameleonPro's field service management platform, websites, APIs, and mobile applications (collectively, the “Services”), provided by CameleonPro UG (haftungsbeschränkt).

This AUP forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Services, you agree to comply with this policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

1. General Conduct

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these rules. You must not:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of CameleonPro or any third party
• Use the Services to transmit, distribute, or store material that is discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

2. Platform Integrity

You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services or circumvent any security or authentication measures
• Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious code into the platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the Services
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Services without prior written authorization
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Services

3. Account and Data Responsibility

As a Subscriber, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring that all data uploaded to the platform is collected and processed in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR
• Obtaining all necessary consents from your customers, fieldworkers, and other data subjects before entering their personal data into the platform
• Keeping your account credentials secure and not sharing them with unauthorized persons
• All activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by users you have authorized

4. Communication Standards

When using CameleonPro's communication features (messaging, notifications, email), you must not:

• Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam)
• Send messages containing deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading content
• Use the platform to harvest email addresses or other personal data for unauthorized purposes
• Send communications that violate anti-spam legislation (e.g., EU ePrivacy Directive, CAN-SPAM)

5. API Usage

If you access the Services via our API, you must:

• Comply with all rate limits and usage quotas specified in your subscription plan
• Not use the API in a manner that degrades the performance of the Services for other users
• Not redistribute or resell API access without prior written agreement
• Secure your API keys and tokens; you are responsible for all API calls made with your credentials

6. Content Standards

Content uploaded to the platform (service descriptions, images, business profiles) must not:

• Be misleading about the nature, quality, or pricing of services offered
• Contain content that is illegal, harmful, or promotes illegal activities
• Infringe on trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights
• Contain personally identifiable information of third parties without their consent

7. Fair Use and Resource Limits

Each subscription plan includes defined resource allocations (fieldworker seats, bookings per month, storage). You must not:

• Circumvent plan limits through technical manipulation
• Share a single account across multiple independent businesses to avoid additional subscriptions
• Use excessive storage or bandwidth in a manner that impacts other users

8. Enforcement and Consequences

CameleonPro reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Upon confirming a violation, we may, at our sole discretion:

• Issue a warning requesting you to remedy the violation within a specified timeframe
• Temporarily suspend access to the Services
• Permanently terminate your account
• Remove or disable offending content
• Report violations to law enforcement authorities where required by law

Where practicable, we will notify you before taking enforcement action and give you a reasonable opportunity to remedy the violation, unless the violation poses an immediate risk to the Services, other users, or CameleonPro.

9. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@cameleonpro.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to account holders or via a notice on our Sites. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
